Summer seems to have come full force in a hurry!! I have never enjoyed the heat - it is why I don't have a large garden and am very thankful for Weezer and my folks for sharing their garden produce with me!! I do have a few hills of potatoes and tomatoes for salsa. I LOVE flowers so I have pots of those planted as well - God's beauty fills the earth with the greens and colors of nature - I love it!!! It has been fun to watch the seeds growing ... overnight it seems....... with this heat so I am appreciating that benefit from the heat! I also love watching the birds as does Weezer and the kids - yesterday we were delighted to have our blue bunting arrive at each of our houses on the same day. Both the flowers and birds give much design inspiration!! In the next few days I will be sharing my new wool series: Wool Society: A Year in Stitches. This project expands on the penny around background series that has always been very popular for us. Todays wool share tho celebrates America and our Grand Old Flag!! Our new "Old Glory" pattern will be available in June. I am finishing up the punchneedle version of it this week and then we will get the patterns ordered. Our "Liberty Lights" pattern has been a very popular pattern so it inspired a punchneedle and wool applique design with that same flag that has been so popular!!
Summer......
