As we all know, we like to believe we are in control of life. We have our days/weeks/and months arranged according to our terms. I am not sure if it wisdom with age or just that as there are more "things" happening to people that are close to me to make me once again realize just how fragile life is.
This weekend my great niece (yes I am that old!!) was taken to Children's Hospital and diagnosed with leukemia. I can't imagine what my nephew and his wife are going through. Her name is Olivia and she will be 3 years old on October 1st. She is a spunky beautiful blonde little girl with the bluest eyes and a happy heart.
I know that I have many prayer warriors that I have become acquainted with over the years and I ask that you will keep little Olivia and her family in your prayers. We all know that prayer works and we have to trust that we are where we are suppose to be in our journey of life. If you wish to follow her story she has a caring bridge site set up: Oliviabaldwin.
